First of all, do not get excited. I have not broken any lockdown rules. I can almost throw a rock from my house in France and have it land in Switzerland. So, with very little daring whatever, I took the girls to another country for today’s walk.
The neighbors have some fine bloom and blossom going on.
We first stopped in the local 19th century church. Binky zipped right in when I opened the door. I shooed her out quickly, as I doubt very much today was the Feast of the Blessing of the Animals.
Then we walked around in the churchyard, from which, I must say, the dead have a mighty fine view, so to speak, of Mont Blanc.
Next, we meandered through the fields, taking in the shocking yellow of rapeseed that has just appeared.
Binky sticks with Ivy; Poppy is a more independent (ahem, SLOWER) sort, so Binky is constantly running back to round her up, usually at top speed.
More demain!
In which we leave the country
The last photo has made me think about what I imagine of the big plain of the middle west. Nice photographs, I like those with the Mont Blanc and the third with the tulip.
Beautiful and so sunny!!!
